The present site of Samundri city was Chak No. 533.G.B in 1887. Later on it was named Samundri. Samundri is situated at a distance of 45 K.M. from Faisalabad. The only means of communication is by road. Katchery bazaar, Mandi bazaar, Nehar bazaar, Qasim bazaar and Chaki bazaar are the important commercial areas in the town.

I met him in 2011 with Ghulam Hussain, actually he guided me towards the grave of my Legendary poet and his spiritual poetic leader Syed Abdul Sattar Mufti, I sat with him for a while there and Bilal Kaifi actullay recited a Ghazal that he recited in the honor of my Late Father on the death anniversary which Ghulam Hussain and other poets always celebrate.
Ghulam Hussain also recited some of his Ashaars and that were amazing and most amazing thing was that he recognized me without any introduction of mine. He called me " Ayaz Bhai" Peer-O-Murshad and Mufti Sahib.
